culture

Culture

1_My definition : in my opinion culture it’s the old life style that’s our father and grandfather used to do it and this kind of things we start to do it again to confirm that we had our unique ways to live , which means that’s culture word means special way to behave from other culture .

2_ I totally agree with the CARLA (2013) definition below because as I said that culture it what our fathers do and we still doing it and shared with them as a unique behaviour and that is what is culture

‘For the purposes of the Intercultural Studies Project, culture is defined as the shared patterns of behaviors and interactions, cognitive constructs, and affective understanding that are learned through a process of socialization. These shared patterns identify the members of a culture group while also distinguishing those of another group.’

3_Direct quote: according to Zimmermann (2012) ‘Culture is the characteristics of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts. Today, in the United States as in other countries populated largely by immigrants, the culture is influenced by the many groups of people that now make up the country.’
